Performs manual labor and support duties throughout an offshore drilling rig, including cargo handling, rig housekeeping, equipment relocation, basic plumbing and sewer repairs, mud-room assistance, and occasional floorhand relief. Requires physically demanding work in challenging marine conditions, 12-hour shifts, 14-days-on/14-days-off rotations, and adherence to safety procedures. The role may involve overnight, holiday, on-call, and occasional travel for training.

Maintains, troubleshoots, repairs, and installs electrical, electronic, instrumentation, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on drilling equipment. Performs preventive and corrective maintenance, tests circuits, manages spare parts, enters work data into the MMS, creates work orders, follows safety and permit procedures, and supports emergency repairs. Requires knowledge of drilling controls, power generation, hoisting, rotating, and circulating systems, along with offshore certifications and electrical maintenance experience.

Performs hands-on drilling rig floor operations, including pipe tripping, making and breaking connections, tubular handling, well-control equipment assembly, mud pump maintenance, fluid transfer, and rig equipment upkeep. Supervises and trains crew members, enforces safety and operating procedures, supports rigging and well completion activities, and responds to emergencies. The role requires offshore certifications, mechanical aptitude, equipment knowledge, and at least two years of relevant experience.
