Provides technical expertise, application support, mentoring, and subject-matter guidance for grid and market solutions.

Performs electrical engineering analysis for generation interconnections and electric power system planning. Conducts powerflow and transfer studies, reviews interconnection applications, analyzes simulated and operating data, develops technical solutions, improves study workflows, communicates requirements and findings to stakeholders, and tracks projects through commercial operation.

Support and develop on-premises and cloud Microsoft applications across the full software lifecycle. Build integrations, design/configure applications, troubleshoot production issues, remediate vulnerabilities, follow change management, and transfer knowledge to users and technical staff.

The consultant will support RTOs and ISOs by designing, developing, testing, and implementing modifications to Energy and Market Management Systems.

Consultants will support utility clients with EMS, DMS, or Energy Market systems, focusing on integration, development, and project management. Primarily onsite roles, some remote opportunities may exist.

Support Market Management Systems applications, design and implement enhancements, troubleshoot issues, coordinate with stakeholders, and maintain application performance. Monitor industry trends and provide expert consulting in MMS.

The EMS Administrator leads the design, implementation, and optimization of Energy Management Systems, ensuring regulatory compliance (NERC/CIP). Responsibilities include project execution, team mentoring, system upgrades, and performance monitoring of EMS platforms.

Operate as a 24x7 Senior Reliability Coordinator to monitor and mitigate transmission congestion and bulk electric system risks. Maintain situational awareness, execute critical decisions during unplanned events, complete required NERC/RC certifications, and contribute to process improvements while working a six-week rotating 12-hour day/night schedule.

Support NERC CIP compliance through standards tracking, evidence gathering, audits, spot checks, and controls assessments. Review standards, develop remediation and work instructions, prepare for regional/NERC audits, coordinate with stakeholders, and maintain compliance documentation and tools.

Develop, maintain, and run PLEXOS production cost, capacity expansion, and portfolio optimization models. Perform ELCC and reserve margin studies, manage cost and outage databases, evaluate resource alternatives, and produce executive-level reports for planning, regulatory filings, and resource adequacy assessments.
