Leads the Simulation Infrastructure team, managing software engineers, scientists, and data analysts who develop physics-based spacecraft simulations and analytics. Responsibilities include setting technical roadmaps, delivering foundational projects, tracking system performance, improving organizational processes, managing staffing and capacity, and overseeing hiring, coaching, and performance development. The role collaborates across engineering and business functions from proposal development through on-orbit mission analysis.

Leads the design, development, integration, debugging, and operation of hardware-in-the-loop testbeds and electrical ground support equipment for satellite missions. Responsibilities include translating flight hardware designs into testbed systems, creating architecture and interface documentation, building and bringing up hardware, troubleshooting hardware-software interfaces, coordinating inventory and infrastructure support, and guiding junior engineers and technicians.

Lead architecture and development of Python-based hardware test frameworks, instrument drivers, test result databases, and UIs. Integrate frameworks with CI/CD and hardware-in-the-loop systems, build shared spacecraft-level tests, partner with subsystem teams for adoption, and mentor engineers to ensure code quality across hardware test software.

Designs and implements automation for spacecraft and ground station operations, monitors satellite health and telemetry, troubleshoots anomalies, executes operational procedures, coordinates orbit maneuvers, and supports satellite integration. The role collaborates across engineering teams to maintain satellite services and fleet performance.

Lead Muon Space’s microwave aerospace programs, managing multidisciplinary teams, customer and supplier relationships, contractual obligations, budgets, schedules, risks, and technical performance. Develop roadmaps and integrated master schedules, track program metrics, coordinate resources, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery of satellite-based systems. Support proposals, customer engagement, contract growth, and business development while collaborating across engineering, legal, finance, operations, and business teams.

Operate and monitor satellite missions, execute procedures, analyze telemetry, troubleshoot anomalies, implement corrective actions, and coordinate orbit maneuvers. The role also supports satellite integration and designs automation for monitoring spacecraft health and safety. Collaboration with engineering teams is required to maintain satellite services and transition new spacecraft into operational phases.

Leads end-to-end earth observation programs for U.S. Government customers, owning cost, schedule, technical baselines, risks, milestones, contract deliverables, and customer relationships. The role directs cross-functional aerospace teams across systems engineering, payloads, flight software, ground processing, and mission operations through design, integration, launch, and on-orbit operations. It also manages government compliance, export controls, technical exchanges, readiness reviews, and follow-on business growth.

Own spacecraft structural analysis across the full hardware lifecycle, including finite element modeling, static and dynamic analyses, test planning, model correlation, coupled loads, and post-test data reduction. The role supports opto-mechanical payloads, supplier interactions, risk and cost tradeoffs, engineering standards, and validation activities. It also requires mentoring, occasional on-site travel for environmental testing, and collaboration in a fast-paced hybrid startup environment.

Own and mature the cybersecurity compliance program against NIST frameworks, CMMC, and government security requirements. Lead audits, assessments, gap analyses, risk remediation, SSP and POA&M development, CUI protection, and EAR/ITAR compliance. Serve as liaison to government security stakeholders and support RMF/ATO packages, classified systems compliance, and accreditation efforts. Partner with IT, Security, Engineering, and Legal teams to embed controls across the organization.

Leads enterprise software evaluations, SaaS selection, technical trade studies, vendor onboarding, and IT integrations. Manages software licenses, renewals, utilization, costs, and vendor escalations while optimizing procurement and intake processes. Partners with InfoSec, Legal, Procurement, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure security compliance, architectural fit, cost efficiency, and effective tooling adoption.

Leads the operational backbone of the Growth organization, managing Partner Management, Proposal Management, Technical Writing, BD Analytics, Research, and Pricing. Builds scalable processes, systems, playbooks, reporting, and team capabilities supporting business development and capture activities. Oversees proposal operations, strategic partnerships, price-to-win processes, market intelligence, and performance metrics while partnering cross-functionally with business development, engineering, finance, contracts, and legal.

Leads high-priority technical proposals and capture efforts from opportunity identification through contract award. Strong Python and C++ experience is required, with preferred experience in numerical simulation, statistical analysis, Julia, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud deployment, Software-in-the-Loop simulation, and CI/CD.

Own mechanical architecture, design, documentation, qualification, and environmental testing for spacecraft components and mechanisms across multiple missions. Lead requirements, sizing, design reviews, vendor development, launch-vehicle integration, and configuration-controlled engineering releases. Make make-versus-buy decisions, define scalable standards, collaborate across structural, thermal, electrical, and systems teams, engage customers and launch providers, and mentor engineers. The role requires onsite work in San Jose three days weekly and expertise in high-reliability electromechanical hardware.

Lead the end-to-end technical execution of complex spacecraft missions from concept through on-orbit operations. Translate customer needs into requirements, manage traceability and verification, define mission concepts and subsystem budgets, lead design and readiness reviews, coordinate cross-functional engineering teams, mitigate risks, and monitor mission performance. Serve as the primary technical interface for customers and stakeholders while improving systems engineering processes and supporting other missions.
