Lead a Pune-based engineering team building and operating the ActivePipe Ruby on Rails platform, PHP integrations, and Kafka-driven ETL pipelines. Set architecture and technical direction, remain hands-on with coding and complex incidents, establish engineering standards, mentor engineers, manage delivery rituals, partner with cross-functional stakeholders, and own reliability, incident response, and on-call quality.

Design, build, and modernize scalable backend systems on a mature Ruby on Rails platform. Own architecture, APIs, and data models; diagnose production issues with AWS and Datadog; lead design discussions, review code, mentor engineers, and drive platform-wide technical improvements.

Own and support accounting operations including accounts payable, payment processing, journal entries, reconciliations, commissions, procurement, corporate cards, cash forecasting, variance analysis, and month-end close. The role uses NetSuite and Tipalti, partners with vendors and internal teams, supports audits and tax activities, documents processes, and helps ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
