Build, maintain, and repair jigs, fixtures, and molds using machining, fabrication, and welding methods. Read blueprints, use shop measuring tools, perform basic shop math, and operate general machine shop equipment to support tooling needs.

Hands-on engineering internship supporting design, development, testing, manufacturing, and continuous improvement of buses and motor coaches. Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to collect and analyze technical data, assist with testing, documentation, design reviews, and apply classroom knowledge to real-world problems while learning the full product lifecycle.

Supervise frontline production in a unionized manufacturing environment, ensuring work meets TAKT times, quality, safety, budget, and LEAN standards. Lead staffing, training, performance management, labor relations, continuous improvement (Kaizen), and H&S/E compliance.

Serve as liaison between private sector sales and factory to shape coach product roadmap, review and approve customer specs and pricing, maintain product configurator and visualization tools, coordinate with engineering/supply chain/vendors, provide training and sales support, ensure regulatory and internal control compliance. Requires some travel.

Senior engineering leader accountable for the MCI coach platform lifecycle. Sets technical vision, product architecture, and system integration; resolves complex engineering challenges; aligns cross-functional teams (Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Service) with customer needs and business objectives; guides product evolution, supplier strategy, and regulatory/industry engagement.
