Supports state advocacy committees during legislative sessions by tracking bills, assisting advocacy processes, coordinating with state directors, and advocating for organizational priorities across Arizona, Nevada, and Texas.

Supports the development and delivery of peacemaking, conflict transformation, and nonviolence courses. Organizes peacebuilding theories into accessible lessons, facilitates inclusive learning environments, evaluates community impact, and recommends course improvements. Collaborates with the peacemaking director and Empower team while helping participants navigate religious and political conflict with grace and skill.

Supports the Idaho advocacy committee during the legislative session by tracking bills related to MWEG’s advocacy priorities, assisting advocacy processes, and promoting organizational positions in collaboration with state leadership.

Supports the Utah advocacy committee during the legislative session by tracking relevant bills, assisting advocacy processes, collaborating with state leadership, and advocating for organizational priorities. The intern will work closely with the Utah state director, assistant director, and advocacy committee. MWEG offers a supportive and empowering workplace for women.

Build and sustain a Montana community that supports leaders and members; advise on state-specific advocacy issues; draft and distribute grassroots advocacy materials; report to the directors of communities and advocacy.
