The role includes field visits, measurements, technical and product solution development, sales planning, customer follow-up, competitor evaluation, and participation in sales meetings and training. Travel and working off the ground are required.

Reviews overhead crane inspection reports, identifies repair and modernization needs, and prepares accurate customer quotations. Coordinates with technicians to verify scope, measurements, photos, and equipment data; prioritizes safety and compliance repairs; supports sales follow-up, renewals, and service needs; tracks quote activity and improves turnaround time and conversion rates.

Operate manual machining equipment to produce heavy industrial crane components. Set up and maintain machines, interpret blueprints and technical drawings, work within tight tolerances, and inspect components using metrological instruments such as micrometers. Maintain an organized work area and transition from day-shift training to a second-shift schedule.

Designs, installs, commissions, maintains, inspects, and supports overhead crane and material handling systems. The role combines mechanical engineering design with hands-on field service, including troubleshooting, repair, performance analysis, customer support, proposal input, cost estimation, and project coordination. The engineer travels to customer sites up to 75% or more, works in industrial environments and at heights, and ensures OSHA compliance and safe use of PPE.

Designs, develops, tests, commissions, and supports PLC-based automation and drive control systems for heavy industrial manufacturing applications. Responsibilities include programming Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs, selecting components and suppliers, troubleshooting networks, supporting factory acceptance testing, adapting PLC projects, and assisting manufacturing and maintenance teams. The role requires collaboration with electrical engineering teams, travel as needed, and work at heights from 30 to 300 feet.

Supports workplace safety inspections, audits, incident and near-miss documentation, OSHA recordkeeping, ISNetworld compliance, safety communications, training coordination, PPE monitoring, inventory tracking, and safety meetings in an industrial environment.

Operate CNC lathes, horizontal boring mills, and planer mills to produce components for heavy industrial cranes. Program conversational CNC code, use Siemens 840D, Centroid M400, and Okuma controls, inspect parts with precision measuring instruments, maintain tight tolerances, read technical drawings, and uphold safe, organized work practices. The role begins on day shift for training before transitioning to a 2nd shift schedule.
