Machine components for heavy industrial cranes using manual mills, lathes, and related equipment. Set up and maintain machines, interpret blueprints and drawings, work within tight tolerances, and inspect components using metrology instruments such as micrometers. Operate CNC lathes, horizontal boring mills, and planer mills to produce components for heavy industrial cranes. Program conversational CNC code, use Siemens 840D and Centroid M400 controls, inspect components with metrology instruments, maintain tight tolerances, read technical drawings, and follow workplace safety standards. The role requires three years of relevant machining experience and availability for second-shift work after day-shift training.

Design, develop, test, commission, and support industrial automation and drive-control systems for heavy manufacturing applications. Program Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs, troubleshoot networks, select controls components, adapt PLC projects, support factory acceptance testing, and provide technical assistance to manufacturing and maintenance teams. The role requires collaboration with electrical engineering teams, travel as needed, and working at heights of 30 to 300 feet.
