Supervises, schedules, trains, and evaluates interpretive naturalists supporting exhibits, tours, educational programs, and special events. Develops training materials, maintains staff and inventory records, coordinates program logistics, resolves customer service issues, conducts meetings and public programs, and supports hiring and performance management. The role also liaises with other departments, travels to community and educational events, enforces policies, and may serve as manager on duty.

Oversees daily care, husbandry, exhibit readiness, facility maintenance, and staff supervision for aquarium cnidarian exhibits, including coral and jellyfish areas. Responsibilities include animal acquisitions, records, nutrition, disease prevention, water quality, live food production, public education, training, scheduling, and emergency support. The role requires expertise in jellyfish propagation, coral health, life support systems, and aquatic animal care.

Provides educational and interpretive experiences for guests through exhibit staffing, animal interactions, guided tours, presentations, field trips, camps, workshops, special events, and school programs. Requires strong communication, public speaking, customer service, teamwork, reliability, flexibility, and an interest in marine biology, nature, and science. The role involves working with children and animals, standing or walking for extended periods, variable environmental conditions, weekends, holidays, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
