Own the top of Monumental’s recruiting funnel, primarily for robot operators and technicians. Responsibilities include sourcing candidates, screening CVs and applications, conducting first-round calls, maintaining the Ashby ATS, scheduling interviews, managing candidate experience, and supporting recruiting events. The role offers increasing ownership of full-cycle searches as recruiting judgment and autonomy develop.

Own day-to-day people and finance operations, including onboarding, payroll and equity administration, contracts, leave, visas, invoices, monthly close, compliance, safety, and supplier payments. Maintain accurate records, respond to employee questions, meet Dutch regulatory deadlines, and automate repetitive processes using systems and AI. Support recruiting, business development, and other high-priority startup initiatives while progressively taking on broader business operations responsibilities.

Own construction-robotics deployments end to end, including logistics, staffing, site execution, contractor relationships, quality, schedules, P&L, and unit economics. Build operational systems, improve margins, manage customer relationships, support new project growth, translate site issues to R&D, and help hire and lead deployment operators. The role is highly autonomous, fully onsite, hands-on, and requires managing multiple complex deployments as the business scales.

Deploy, debug, and iterate on construction robots in the field. Own end-to-end technical deployments: identify site-specific issues, implement software/hardware fixes, test on robots, and roll out improvements across the fleet. Act as the company ambassador on-site and contribute product insights.

Design, prototype, and deploy mechanical systems for construction robots. Responsibilities include CAD and FEA-driven design, fabrication and field testing, integrating actuators and sensors, improving reliability and payload/precision capabilities, and iterating designs based on on-site deployments.

Design, prototype, test, and productionize mechatronic robotic systems for on-site autonomous construction. Scope concepts, select actuators/sensors, integrate electronics and firmware, iterate in the workshop and live construction sites, and lead small multidisciplinary efforts toward robust, deployable hardware.
