Provides legal support across commercial contracts, privacy compliance, consumer protection, payment regulations, and litigation. Conducts legal research, drafts and negotiates agreements, manages data subject requests and DPIAs, coordinates litigation with counsel, tracks budgets and objectives, and leads process improvements. The role also develops AI-supported workflows and builds stakeholder relationships in a dynamic financial technology environment.

Leads Finance transformation, systems change, and operational improvement across Financial Control, FP&A, Finance Operations, payroll, billing, and treasury. Owns NetSuite requirements, testing, releases, governance, vendor coordination, and adoption. Manages Finance project portfolios, RAID logs, UAT, go-live readiness, regulatory and entity expansion activities, controls, auditability, and stakeholder alignment across Finance, Technology, Product, Risk, Compliance, and external advisers.

Leads group financial close, audit coordination, balance sheet governance, statutory and regulatory reporting, tax compliance, treasury oversight, and finance transformation across multiple international entities. Manages and develops the Financial Control team, serves as the senior technical escalation point, supports board and auditor reporting, and drives automation, AI adoption, reconciliation standards, and process improvement.

Own end-to-end payroll processing across India, the UK, France, Spain, Ireland, the US, and the Netherlands. Manage payroll calendars, tax withholdings, payment files, benefits, pensions, statutory returns, compliance, employee queries, and external payroll providers. Maintain accurate confidential records, improve processes, and support payroll systems while working across multiple time zones and meeting UK business-hour coverage requirements.

Assess and monitor client and partner risk portfolios across financial crime, business model, resilience, conduct, and complaints domains. Conduct risk assessments, open-source research, assurance testing, and oversight meetings; identify emerging risks, challenge controls, track remediation, develop key risk indicators, and provide management information. Support FCA and DNB regulatory compliance, audits, and reviews while contributing to AI-assisted risk assessment improvements.

Own the reliability, performance, observability, and scalability of production PostgreSQL and Amazon Aurora databases. Diagnose incidents involving query performance, locks, connection pools, and contention; implement monitoring, alerting, automation, and operational guardrails. Partner with engineering teams on schemas, indexes, access patterns, high-availability architecture, and database decomposition. Lead incident response, post-incident reviews, and continuous reliability improvements in a regulated payments environment.

Leads a DevOps team while remaining hands-on in designing, automating, securing, and operating highly available AWS and hybrid cloud infrastructure. Responsibilities include CI/CD, GitOps, Terraform, Kubernetes, observability, incident response, disaster recovery, cloud cost optimization, compliance, and reliability engineering. The role also involves mentoring engineers, setting technical standards, coordinating delivery, reviewing architecture, supporting recruitment and performance management, and partnering with technical and business stakeholders.

Supports daily treasury operations across multiple accounts and currencies. Responsibilities include cash and balance monitoring, treasury transfers, payment funding, bank statement retrieval, weekly and monthly reconciliations, financial postings, journal preparation, compliance reporting, cashflow forecasting, audit support, and maintaining banking systems and process documentation. The role requires strong accuracy, organization, communication, problem-solving, and knowledge of treasury or finance operations.

Support second-line compliance operations across Europe, including regulatory horizon scanning, change management, reporting, compliance assessments, AML/FT oversight, risk treatment, regulator engagement, and management information. The role translates regulations into actionable business guidance, challenges first-line teams, coordinates external advisors, and manages regulatory submissions. Native Spanish proficiency is essential, with strong stakeholder management, communication, organization, and financial-services compliance experience required.

Own the full partnership lifecycle for Modulr’s travel channel, from identifying target platforms through negotiation, signing, and successful launch. Build and manage a travel-partner pipeline across GDSs, OTAs, TMCs, aggregators, intermediaries, and travel SaaS platforms. Develop commercial cases for embedded payments and virtual cards, structure revenue-share and referral models, achieve partnership revenue targets, represent the company at industry events, and provide market insights to product and go-to-market teams.

Lead end-to-end GTM enablement across Sales, Account Management, Partnerships and Marketing. Own onboarding, embed MEDDICC, design data-driven coaching using call insights and AI, automate micro-learning and nudges with GTM Engineers, manage playbooks and GTM content, analyse performance and support pipeline integrity, run commercial rhythms, and partner with RevOps.

Lead vertical product marketing for Travel and Lending: define positioning, GTM strategy, launches, sales enablement, and market intelligence to drive pipeline, win rates and revenue for a payments automation B2B SaaS platform.

Design, build, and evolve event-driven, cloud-native backend services and microservices using Java. Work on distributed systems, reliability, performance, observability, automated testing, CI/CD, and deployment tooling while collaborating in cross-functional agile squads.

Own the full partnership lifecycle for travel: identify, engage, negotiate, and sign partners (GDS, OTAs, TMCs, aggregators). Build pipeline, structure commercial models, hit new-partner and revenue targets, coordinate launches with product/legal/risk, represent Modulr at industry events, and feed market insight back into product and go-to-market.

Own technical onboarding and manage configuration of products and integrations. Provide second-line support, troubleshoot APIs, coordinate partners, maintain records in Salesforce, progress tickets in Freshdesk, and ensure compliant, auditable handovers to Support or Account Management.
