Maintain accurate confidential records, improve processes, and support payroll systems while working across multiple time zones and meeting UK business-hour coverage requirements.

Assess and monitor client and partner risk portfolios across financial crime, business model, resilience, conduct, and complaints domains. Conduct risk assessments, open-source research, assurance testing, and oversight meetings; identify emerging risks, challenge controls, track remediation, develop key risk indicators, and provide management information. Support FCA and DNB regulatory compliance, audits, and reviews while contributing to AI-assisted risk assessment improvements.

Own the reliability, performance, observability, and scalability of production PostgreSQL and Amazon Aurora databases. Diagnose incidents involving query performance, locks, connection pools, and contention; implement monitoring, alerting, automation, and operational guardrails. Partner with engineering teams on schemas, indexes, access patterns, high-availability architecture, and database decomposition. Lead incident response, post-incident reviews, and continuous reliability improvements in a regulated payments environment.
