Investigate, triage, and resolve technical customer issues involving payment APIs, banking networks, ledgers, reconciliation, fiat and stablecoin settlement, and onboarding. Participate in incident response, collaborate with Engineering and Product on root-cause analysis, improve support processes, analyze trends, and use AI tools to accelerate investigations and develop repeatable workflows. The role requires production troubleshooting, strong written communication, and familiarity with APIs, integration protocols, payments, SQL, observability, and support tools.

Leads company strategy, resource allocation, product economics, pricing, capital markets, fundraising, debt, M&A, board and investor relations, and finance organization growth. Partners with the CEO and management team to scale the payments business, optimize long-term value creation, negotiate with financial partners, and develop AI-enabled finance operations.

Manage daily operations for Modern Treasury’s San Francisco headquarters and oversee the New York office. Responsibilities include facilities maintenance, vendor relationships, office standards, space planning, events, mail and courier services, swag and gifts, workplace tickets, budgets, inspections, and employee workplace support. The role requires a visible, proactive presence in the office five days per week, with occasional early mornings or evenings for events.

Build and lead Modern Treasury’s payments risk function from the ground up. Own customer onboarding and underwriting, transaction authorization, dynamic limits, reserves, exposure analysis, fraud detection, and risk-engine tooling. Partner across Engineering, Product, Compliance, Finance, and customer teams to create scalable controls for ACH, stablecoins, wallets, RfP, and international payment rails. The role requires strong payments-risk judgment, technical and data fluency, cross-functional influence, and the ability to establish systems before growth creates operational strain.

Manage a high-volume pipeline to close new logos and expand existing accounts for an API-first payments product. Prospect, conduct technical sales with Sales Engineers, negotiate deals, and drive cross-sells while developing deep product and payments expertise.

Owner of revenue systems and GTM ops stack: build and maintain Salesforce fields, flows, validation rules, and layouts; design routing and workflows across Salesforce, LeanData, Chili Piper, and HubSpot; lead major system redesigns; partner with Engineering to automate repetitive GTM work with AI agents; respond to Sales/Marketing/CS/Finance requests and support finance forecasting inputs.

Own and ship Payments products that enable money movement: customer onboarding and compliance (KYC/KYB/sanctions), payment rails (ACH, wire, RTP, cross-border, stablecoins), and liquidity/ledger capabilities. Collaborate with engineering, compliance, partnerships, and customer teams, and apply AI tools to improve workflows and scale payment infrastructure.

The Software Engineer will develop APIs and banking infrastructure, focusing on full-stack features in an autonomous environment, collaborating with a team.

Design, deploy, and operate scalable AWS infrastructure and platform automation for high-volume, real-time payment and ledger systems. Lead architecture, standardize IaC and CI/CD, improve reliability, observability, and security, and align platform and product teams on operational models.
