Lead brand direction as the company’s first dedicated designer across digital and physical media. Create brand guidelines, presentation decks, video and social assets, marketing and product pages, operator app UI, trade-show materials, one-pagers, and merchandise. Collaborate with executives and marketing to support campaigns, events, and technical B2B or defense products. The role is on-site in Austin and requires professional design experience, a strong portfolio, and U.S. person status.

Build and manage partnerships with unmanned vehicle manufacturers, primes, and systems integrators. Generate outbound pipeline, qualify prospects, negotiate licensing, teaming, joint-development, and reseller agreements, and coordinate vehicle software integration and field testing. The role involves selling technical defense products to engineering teams, maintaining CRM and pipeline reporting, supporting go-to-market development, and traveling 25–33% for partner meetings, testing, conferences, and industry events.

Owns government capture and proposal efforts from bid/no-bid through submission, including capture plans, compliance matrices, schedules, color teams, cost-volume coordination, and proposal content. The role develops RFI, RFP, white paper, SBIR, OTA, CSO, BAA, and FAR/DFARS responses; maintains proposal resources; tracks pursuits in a CRM; and translates technical AI/ML information into compliant, compelling submissions for defense and dual-use contracts.

Own Modern Intelligence’s marketing presence across video, social, print, design, trade shows, and events. Translate complex defense and computer vision products into clear customer-facing stories, produce content hands-on, manage creative vendors, oversee campaigns and event materials, and partner with founders and technical leaders. The role will initially execute much of the work directly before building and leading an internal marketing team.

Support the CTO by managing calendars, prioritizing time, preparing meetings, attending meetings when needed, capturing decisions and follow-ups, and delivering concise updates. The role involves coordinating with engineering and executives, using AI to streamline routine work, handling confidential and export-controlled information, and helping establish the company’s first executive assistant function.

Develop software for Sovereign, an autonomy platform for unmanned vehicles that detects, classifies, tracks, and guides toward targets. Build primarily in C++ with Python and Linux, integrate perception and autonomy technologies, and support field deployments, customer integrations, and testing. The role involves export-controlled defense technology and requires travel and U.S. person eligibility.

Build, fly, maintain, integrate, and evaluate a heterogeneous fleet of fixed-wing and copter drones. Troubleshoot flight controllers, electrical systems, and physical hardware; integrate autonomy software across new platforms; and support testing and drone development. The role may help establish and eventually lead the company’s drone engineering team, with potential travel and relocation to Austin, Texas.
