The role requires EMT licensing, driving qualifications, medical certifications, FEMA training, physical capacity, and readiness to work variable shifts in hazardous and stressful conditions.

Provide field training and orientation to students, externs and personnel while serving as a road EMT/paramedic. Monitor and evaluate performance, conduct ride-alongs, run skills labs, complete documentation audits, attend required education, and maintain certifications (trauma, pediatrics, emergency driving, FEMA NIMS). Perform standard EMT duties, meet physical and driving requirements, and comply with post-employment physical, drug screen and training.
