Participate as part of a teen team to research St. Louis history, create digital and public-history projects, produce website and social media content, run interpretive programs, attend professional development and field trips, evaluate work, assist recruitment and related programs, and support other events.

Leads the Public History team and directs storytelling across exhibits, tours, programs, media, publications, partnerships, and emerging formats. Oversees content strategy, visitor-centered interpretation, external collaborations, budgets, and multiple projects. Serves as a public representative through media appearances and presentations, mentors staff, develops writers, and contributes hands-on exhibit and publication content. Requires strong leadership, public writing, communication, organization, museum storytelling knowledge, and 7–10 years of progressively responsible experience.

Provide wayfinding, share information about exhibits and programs, support shop sales and transactions, help manage event traffic, enforce gallery guidelines to protect collections, and assist with daily shop operations and inter-departmental needs.

Engages diverse audiences and ensures programs align with AAHI priorities and museum-wide goals.
