Build and maintain a large case law dataset through document metadata pipelines, web scraper reliability systems, citation-resolution utilities, APIs, and evaluation benchmarks. The role requires backend technical generalism, data pipeline expertise, and basic-to-intermediate infrastructure and DevOps skills. Python and SQL are core, while ML and AI experience is beneficial. This is an in-person position in SoHo, New York City.

Build and maintain pipelines and services to create a comprehensive case law dataset: augment documents with legal metadata, ensure reliable web scrapers, optimize citation and court-resolution utilities, expose data via APIs/websockets, and benchmark core tasks.

Lead and build Midpage’s marketing function: craft messaging and design, write web and launch copy, generate qualified conversations, identify channels to reach AI labs and legal-data buyers, and execute growth initiatives independently before hiring a team. In-person in SoHo, NYC.
