Teams at Middesk

Process and submit state payroll tax registrations, resolve customer data inaccuracies, review state notifications, and contact state agencies regarding correspondence or requirements. Maintain high accuracy and throughput while managing multiple workstreams. Collaborate cross-functionally to identify process gaps, optimize fulfillment workflows, and support new features. This is a temporary, highly operational role requiring four days weekly in the New York City office through December 2026, with possible extension.

Design end-to-end B2B product experiences that simplify complex business identity and risk data. Partner with Product and Engineering to discover, prototype, and ship solutions, evolve the design system, and communicate design rationale to stakeholders. Translate dense data into clear, trusted interfaces and build prototypes using LLM-powered tooling.

The Forward Deployed Engineer leads technical designs and deployments of customer-facing systems, collaborates with clients, and enhances engineering practices within Middesk.
