Provides professional library services, including customer assistance, reference and readers’ advisory support, bibliographic instruction, technology instruction, and public programming. Provides professional library services, including customer assistance, reference and readers’ advisory support, bibliographic instruction, technology instruction, and programming. Plans and presents services, builds community partnerships, participates civically, and leads children’s programming and outreach. Works with diverse patrons of all ages and must be available during library operating hours, including evenings and weekends.

Assists library members by checking materials in and out, locating resources, managing accounts, issuing library cards, explaining services, supporting self-service technology, and performing basic collection maintenance. Requires a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of customer service experience. Preferred qualifications include automated circulation system experience and a strong desire to help people.
