Assists library members by issuing and receiving materials, locating resources, managing accounts, issuing library cards, explaining services, supporting self-service technology, and performing basic collection maintenance. The half-time role requires availability during evenings, weekends, and library operating hours, with a specified schedule at the East Edmond Library.

Assists library members by issuing and receiving materials, locating books, managing library accounts, issuing library cards, explaining services, supporting self-service technology, and performing basic collection maintenance. Works full time at the East Edmond Library, including evening and rotating weekend shifts. Provides customer-focused assistance under the direction of the Library Supervisor.

Provides professional library services, including customer information assistance, reference and readers’ advisory support, bibliographic instruction, technology instruction, and public programs. Builds relationships with community organizations, supports diverse audiences, and participates in civic engagement. The full-time role requires a master’s degree in Library and Information Science from an ALA-accredited institution and availability for evening and weekend hours.
