Provides administrative support to executive leadership and staff, including scheduling, correspondence, transcription, meeting preparation, board communications, report preparation, filing, supply inventory, invoicing, and vendor coordination. Greets clients and visitors, routes inquiries, protects confidential information, follows HIPAA requirements, and supports a community health center serving homeless and underserved populations.

Coordinates referrals, diagnostic testing, specialist visits, laboratory services, ancillary care, and prior authorizations. Tracks requests, communicates with payers, providers, pharmacies, facilities, and patients, obtains clinical documentation and results, supports appointment scheduling, updates care teams, and maintains complete, confidential electronic medical records. Requires healthcare administrative experience, knowledge of payer requirements and medical coding terminology, strong organization, communication, and follow-through.

Manage provider credentialing and re-credentialing for medical, mental health, and dental professionals. Submit and track Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer enrollment applications; monitor licenses, DEA registrations, and certifications; maintain compliant files; conduct audits; coordinate with internal departments and external credentialing entities; develop process improvements; and report credentialing metrics to leadership.

Leads organization-wide quality improvement, performance measurement, regulatory compliance, population health, and value-based care initiatives. Analyzes clinical and operational data, develops dashboards, monitors quality metrics, supports HRSA and UDS reporting, coordinates audits and site visits, identifies care gaps, and educates providers and staff on quality standards and improvement strategies.

Provides operational support across multiple community health center sites by driving food trucks, vans, and a medical RV; transporting food, supplies, and equipment; supporting outreach events; performing basic vehicle maintenance; and assisting with property upkeep, landscaping, cleaning, and other operational needs.
