The Production Lead oversees daily manufacturing operations, coordinates workflow, resolves issues, and ensures production goals align with quality and safety standards.

Performs preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, installation, fabrication, and repairs for facility systems and manufacturing equipment. Maintains mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, instrumentation, and safety systems; supports production changeovers and special manufacturing projects. Conducts inspections, manages parts inventory, documents work orders, maintains assigned areas, operates specialized equipment, and oversees contractors. Provides technical guidance to less experienced technicians while following safety protocols.

Inspect, handle, and pack finished adhesive products for shipment or storage. Maintain cleanliness and safety, perform pre/post-operational inspections, assist Batch Makers, check quality, store and remove materials, and report contamination or equipment issues to supervision.

Inspect finished adhesive products for defects, pack items into appropriate cases, assist Batch Makers with product handling, maintain and clean equipment and work area, perform basic quality checks, participate in inventories and safety activities, and follow supervisor directions.

Operate basic filling and packaging equipment under direct supervision, follow SOPs, perform routine cleaning and simple set-ups, handle materials and finished products, maintain a safe and clean work area, record production logs, and report equipment, quality, or safety issues. Entry-level role with opportunities to learn and advance.

Set up, mix, weigh, heat, and fill bulk and BiPak orders using mixers and dispensing equipment. Follow ISO/safety procedures, perform in-process quality checks, maintain inventory counts, troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on filling equipment, and complete related documentation and label printing.

Process vendor invoices and payments, support Coupa procurement/AP platform, reconcile accounts, maintain process documentation, assist audits and reporting, and collaborate with Procurement, Treasury, and GL teams to ensure accurate, timely AP operations.

Manage daily production and shipment schedules, create and post batch tickets, prepare pick lists and labels, track inventory accuracy, coordinate material requests/transfers, support rework/disposal, and communicate with Production, Shipping, Quality, Procurement, Sales, and site leadership to meet customer and plant targets.

Perform routine QC testing of raw materials and finished adhesive products using analytical instruments, document results, report abnormalities, and operate/calibrate equipment under general supervision while following GLP and company quality standards.

Operate and troubleshoot multiple filling and packaging machines, perform set-ups, changeovers, and in-process quality checks, maintain production documentation, follow SOPs, train/mentor Fill Tech I staff, support continuous improvement and safety compliance.

Manage and grow an assigned Southeast territory by servicing existing accounts, securing new business, meeting sales objectives, resolving customer issues with lab/manufacturing support, tracking territory activity and competition, and presenting product solutions for packaging adhesives including hot melts and water-based products.
