Backend and full-stack work uses Haskell and SQL, while frontend and full-stack work uses TypeScript, with React experience beneficial. Lead and grow the Custody engineering team while owning its technical strategy and roadmap. Guide development of custody systems including cash and securities ledgers, security master services, position tracking, reconciliation, money movement, and operational controls. Partner with product, investment operations, compliance, and partnerships to deliver reliable, auditable systems supporting securities settlement, corporate actions, and customer asset accounting at scale.

Drive outbound sales cycles for Mercury’s fintech products, working with founders, finance leaders, and business owners. Uncover operational pain points, manage complex multi-product evaluations, build stakeholder champions, create mutual action plans, influence requirements, and close strategic deals. Own and expand customer relationships during the first 90 days.

Leads independent second-line oversight of liquidity, interest-rate, funding, investment, and balance-sheet risks. Partners with Treasury and Finance to challenge strategies, models, assumptions, risk exposures, stress testing, and contingency plans. Develops risk policies, appetite measures, limits, indicators, escalation standards, and executive reporting. Oversees financial-risk models, data quality, regulatory examinations, bank-partner oversight, and scalable risk capabilities across a fintech environment.

Leads Mercury’s motion design practice across 3D brand worlds, launch films, product videos, UI motion, and interactive experiences. Defines motion systems, standards, and reusable templates while personally executing high-level 3D and 2D craft. Develops AI-assisted workflows for previs, storyboarding, textures, and asset generation; evaluates emerging tools while protecting quality. Partners cross-functionally, art-directs specialists and studios, and mentors designers through critique and example.

Own end-to-end SOP, knowledge base, and eLearning projects supporting fraud, disputes, and risk operations. Create audit-ready procedures, Guru articles, and Articulate 360 modules; translate regulatory requirements such as OCC guidance, Reg E, and Reg Z into clear frontline content. Partner with subject matter experts, manage authoring priorities, maintain version-controlled materials, lead reviews, improve team standards, and mentor specialists.

Own Mercury’s marketing technology roadmap, integrations, data pipelines, GA4 administration, conversion tracking, audience synchronization, and marketing automations. Build, test, deploy, monitor, and maintain APIs, webhooks, custom code, forms, tags, and experimentation tools. Partner with Growth Marketing, Data, Engineering, SEO, and Lifecycle teams to improve measurement, attribution, reliability, and campaign execution. Diagnose failures, manage platform access and vendors, document systems, and create reusable tools.

Own and build Mercury's enterprise partnerships motion by sourcing and closing platform-scale, embedded finance and API-driven distribution deals. Lead outreach to C-suite partners, architect bespoke integration and commercial structures, model deal economics, and coordinate cross-functional teams from negotiation through legal close, integration, and launch.

Manage securities compliance and supervision programs for broker-dealer and RIA entities. Responsibilities include FINRA and SEC compliance testing, reporting, policy maintenance, regulatory filings, licensing, surveillance, examinations, investigations, and audit support. Partner with Product, Engineering, Operations, Legal, Marketing, and Support to assess regulatory risks and compliance requirements for new products and services.

Lead and scale trading operations for a FINRA-member broker-dealer and SEC-registered investment advisor. Own trade lifecycle controls, surveillance, reconciliations, reporting obligations, books and records, regulatory readiness, broker and partner relationships, and resolution of trade breaks and settlement issues. Partner with Product, Engineering, Compliance, Finance, Legal, and Risk to improve workflows, implement controls, support launches, and ensure compliant, reliable trading operations.

Administer and optimize Mercury’s Zendesk ecosystem and broader customer support technology stack. Responsibilities include system configuration, integrations, security, compliance controls, reporting, automation, troubleshooting, documentation, sprint delivery, user support, training, and cross-functional collaboration. The role will identify efficiency improvements, evaluate AI and support tools, and partner with engineering, IT, risk, and compliance teams to improve customer and agent experiences.

Lead end-to-end go-to-market strategy across product-led, sales-led, and partner-led motions, focusing on customer journey, messaging, and growth metrics.

Investigate AML, fraud, and other financial crime alerts; respond to bank partner information requests; review transactions and account activity; contact users; make account decisions; document findings; escalate suspicious activity for SAR consideration; support transaction-monitoring rule tuning; improve case-management processes; investigate automation tools; and create documentation and training materials.

Own end-to-end technology programs for charge cards, term loans, and credit products. Coordinate Engineering, Product, Risk, Compliance, Treasury, and Operations while managing roadmaps, dependencies, risks, resources, governance, and launch readiness. Drive executive decision-making, audit readiness, incident learnings, retrospectives, documentation, and process improvement through automation and AI tooling. The role requires extensive technical program management experience in regulated financial services or fintech environments.

Build and operate Mercury’s machine learning platform, including low-latency inference services, model deployment infrastructure, CI/CD, staged rollouts, observability, drift detection, retraining triggers, and explainability capabilities. Partner with data science teams to move models into reliable production operation, while shaping a new platform team supporting fraud and financial crime decisioning.

Conducts cold-call, social, and email prospecting to generate interest, qualify leads, and schedule meetings. Researches potential customers, develops outreach strategies with the sales team, builds prospect relationships, tracks sales metrics, and manages pipeline activity while pursuing targets in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Embed with product teams to improve reliability, observability, performance, and operational preparedness. Establish on-call, monitoring, alerting, runbook, SLO, and incident-response practices; conduct game days; implement reliability improvements in Haskell and TypeScript applications; identify observability gaps; participate in on-call rotations; and champion reliability through design and code reviews.

Provide empathetic customer support through chat, email, and phone; process account requests, disputes, payments, and card shipments; educate users; identify systemic issues; collaborate with engineering and banking partners; write help content; improve support tools and processes; and help develop Mercury’s customer support and operations infrastructure.

Leads cross-functional engineering projects for investment products, architecting and scaling brokerage trading and custody systems.
