Own the US research-market territory for Asimov, building relationships with university labs, corporate R&D teams, and physical-AI startups. Conduct technical discovery, recommend robot configurations and services, lead demonstrations and deployments, support procurement, expand successful adoptions, and relay customer feedback to product and engineering teams. The role requires technical robotics and AI fluency, hands-on robot operation, public presentations, commercial selling, and frequent travel.

Design and train perception and representation models for humanoid whole-body control, develop world-model research, evaluate models on physical robots, and collaborate across locomotion, autonomy, and hardware teams. The role requires end-to-end model training, computer vision, self-supervised learning, simulation, and sim-to-real experience, with opportunities to contribute to open-source robotics research.

Lead corporate development initiatives across fundraising, investor relations, partnerships, business development, strategic investments, and M&A. Responsibilities include investor outreach, data room management, commercial relationship development, partnership negotiations, acquisition sourcing, financial modeling, due diligence, deal structuring, and market intelligence. The role works closely with founders and technical teams to shape Menlo’s growth strategy and commercial offerings.

Design, prototype, and iterate mechatronic subsystems (actuators, joints, drivetrains, sensors). Integrate motors, encoders, control electronics and firmware, test and characterize hardware, debug cross-domain systems, and collaborate with controls and software teams to deliver production-ready robot hardware with clear documentation.

Own Menlo’s APAC marketing strategy and execution across brand, positioning, content, demand generation, community, events, and go-to-market. Build the company’s presence among developers, enterprise buyers, researchers, and AI and robotics communities. Manage content across multiple formats and channels, generate commercial pipeline, develop ecosystem relationships, implement marketing automation, and collaborate with teams in Singapore and Ho Chi Minh City. This is Menlo’s first marketing hire with full strategic ownership and individual-contributor responsibility.

Own the industrial design and physical form of a humanoid robot, from concept and form language through production-ready enclosures and structural aesthetics. Lead CMF, ergonomics, human-facing details, prototyping, and design for manufacturing and assembly. Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing teams to create buildable, serviceable, durable hardware, iterating rapidly through foam, printed, machined, and real-robot prototypes.

Own end-to-end robotics data collection: translate research needs into collection protocols, run multi-site collection operations, maintain rigs and pipelines, define KPIs, diagnose data quality, and align researchers, engineers, and operators to deliver training-ready datasets.

Manage the end-to-end customer journey for Asimov: convert interest into onboarded, paying users; drive adoption, retention, expansion, and renewals; run onboarding and lifecycle programs; build customer stories and feed product/marketing with customer insights.

Build and own Jan Router: an OpenAI-compatible enterprise LLM gateway handling provider routing, reliability, streaming, and billing. Implement per-request token metering, org controls (API keys, quotas, RBAC), and connect agent traffic, deploying and operating the system to production with high correctness and performance.

Lead Menlo's security as the first hire: define threat models, build security frameworks for cloud and on-prem robots, enforce RBAC and encryption, secure containerized deployments, manage secrets and supply chain security, harden IaC, and embed security into deployment pipelines.

Build, maintain, and ship the Jan cross-platform desktop app using Tauri. Work full-stack (React/Node.js frontend, Rust native), own packaging, builds, installers, auto-update, code signing, and release pipelines, and provide first-class Linux support. Integrate local model runtimes and use agent-native workflows to iterate quickly while ensuring reliability and performance.

Paid, hands-on fellowship where interns own end-to-end projects in software, systems, infrastructure, applied AI, or research. Work includes shipping production-grade features, debugging across codebases, writing documentation and runbooks, and collaborating with mentors. Minimum three-month on-site placements in Menlo offices; strong ownership, practical debugging, and engineering fundamentals required.

Design, analyze, and validate mechanical and kinematic systems for a humanoid robot. Produce CAD models and production drawings, run FEA and physical tests, perform DFM with contract manufacturers, set up instrumented test rigs, and coordinate cross-discipline integration from prototype to production. Contribute to open-source hardware releases and manufacturing documentation.

Design, integrate, and bring up electronic systems for a humanoid robot: schematics and PCB layouts for power/motor control, wiring harness and enclosure integration, system bring-up and debugging, test protocol definition and failure analysis, collaborate with firmware/controls, and contribute open-source manufacturing documentation.

Lead Menlo's US marketing as the first marketing hire: set strategy and execute across brand, content, demand gen, community, and go-to-market. Define positioning for Asimov and Menlo Platform, grow presence on social and developer communities, produce multi-format content, drive lead generation and events, build press/analyst relationships, and set up scalable marketing automation.

Build and maintain distributed cloud and edge infrastructure and data systems for a humanoid robot platform: design real-time ingestion and streaming pipelines, develop backend services/APIs, manage Kubernetes-based cloud native infrastructure, ensure reliability through observability and incident response, and support ML/robotics training and simulation workflows.
