Responsibilities include board bring-up, drivers, communication buses, bootloaders, firmware updates, sensor integration, safety systems, timing validation, hardware-software debugging, and test automation. The role collaborates across electrical, mechanical, and controls teams and contributes to open-source robotics projects.

Owns final assembly and test quality at a contract manufacturer from trial builds through mass production. Responsibilities include yield analysis, inspection criteria, outgoing quality, NPI phase-gate readiness, root-cause and corrective actions, process audits, non-conformance disposition, quality metrics, and continuous improvement. Partners with engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve defects and ensure products meet design and shipment requirements.

Design, train, and deploy reinforcement learning policies for humanoid manipulation, grasping, dexterous control, and whole-body coordination. Own the MuJoCo-based sim2real pipeline, including rewards, environments, contact modeling, and domain randomization. Test policies on real robot hardware, use telemetry to improve failures, and collaborate with locomotion, controls, and hardware researchers. Open-source robotics and reinforcement learning work where possible.

Design, train, and deploy reinforcement learning policies for bipedal and whole-body humanoid locomotion. Own the sim-to-real pipeline, reward design, domain randomization, MuJoCo training environments, and hardware validation. Improve balance, gait, recovery, and terrain robustness using real-robot telemetry. Collaborate with hardware, controls, and manipulation researchers, while contributing to open-source robotics and research publications.

Deploy and improve humanoid robotic systems in real customer and industrial environments. Diagnose field failures, collect and curate deployment data, fine-tune models, design evaluations, and translate deployment challenges into reusable research and product capabilities. Collaborate with research and platform teams while helping define scalable operating practices for deploying, improving, and scaling robotic systems.

Own Menlo’s visual identity across its website, launches, communications, community channels, and partner materials. Responsibilities include building the brand system, designing responsive web pages, creating social and event assets, producing decks and collateral, and collaborating with engineers to ship work. The role requires broad brand, web, and communications design experience, strong Figma skills, self-direction, speed, and a technical aesthetic. Front-end development, motion, video, illustration, 3D, photography, and robotics or open-source experience are beneficial.

Launch and own Menlo’s e-commerce store, including platform selection, storefront development, product sourcing, merchandising, fulfillment, global shipping, customer support, P&L management, analytics, lifecycle marketing, and conversion optimization. The role partners with brand, community, DevRel, and supply chain teams to expand from merchandise into robotics kits, spare parts, and hardware components.

Own the US research-market territory for Asimov, building relationships with university labs, corporate R&D teams, and physical-AI startups. Conduct technical discovery, recommend robot configurations and services, lead demonstrations and deployments, support procurement, expand successful adoptions, and relay customer feedback to product and engineering teams. The role requires technical robotics and AI fluency, hands-on robot operation, public presentations, commercial selling, and frequent travel.

Build and own Jan Router: an OpenAI-compatible enterprise LLM gateway handling provider routing, reliability, streaming, and billing. Implement per-request token metering, org controls (API keys, quotas, RBAC), and connect agent traffic, deploying and operating the system to production with high correctness and performance.

Build, maintain, and ship the Jan cross-platform desktop app using Tauri. Work full-stack (React/Node.js frontend, Rust native), own packaging, builds, installers, auto-update, code signing, and release pipelines, and provide first-class Linux support. Integrate local model runtimes and use agent-native workflows to iterate quickly while ensuring reliability and performance.

Paid, hands-on fellowship where interns own end-to-end projects in software, systems, infrastructure, applied AI, or research. Work includes shipping production-grade features, debugging across codebases, writing documentation and runbooks, and collaborating with mentors.
