Administers federally and privately funded grants across the full award lifecycle, including proposal development, budgeting, financial monitoring, compliance, reporting, reconciliation, and closeout. Acts as a liaison across internal and external stakeholders, supports office procedures and special projects, trains administrative staff, and helps ensure departmental activities and deliverables are completed efficiently.

Leads Meharry Medical College’s Institutional Advancement program, overseeing fundraising, alumni relations, donor communications, stewardship, prospect research, and advancement operations. Manages a growing team, develops fundraising infrastructure and performance metrics, cultivates leadership-level prospects, supports the $350 million Campaign 150, advises senior leadership and trustees, and represents the College in community and philanthropic activities.

Connects patients with HIV, HCV, STI prevention and treatment, substance use disorder care, behavioral healthcare, insurance, and social services. Provides education, testing support, peer recovery assistance, appointment coordination, referrals, follow-up, and documentation in the electronic health record and TN-WITS. Works in person on a mobile syringe services unit, at clinics, and in community outreach settings while providing trauma-informed, confidential, nonjudgmental support.

Teaches and supervises pre-doctoral and post-doctoral dental students in clinical, didactic, and laboratory settings. Supports restorative dentistry curriculum development, mentoring, assessment, institutional service, scholarly activity, and community oral-health outreach through Meharry’s Mobile Dental Unit. Requires clinical excellence, teaching ability, collaboration, and commitment to health equity. Tennessee dental licensure or eligibility is required.
