Provides nursing support to physicians in an outpatient urology clinic. Performs patient assessments, urologic procedures, diagnostic testing, medication administration, treatments, instrument sterilization, room preparation, supply inventory, and patient communications. Documents care accurately while maintaining HIPAA, OSHA, infection-control, and safety standards. Requires Virginia LPN licensure, BLS certification, nursing school graduation, clinical experience, computer proficiency, and effective patient communication.

Serves as the primary communication link between patients and the healthcare team. Answers high-volume calls and texts, provides general information, schedules and updates appointments, registers patients, verifies insurance and demographic data, routes clinical and administrative messages, and documents interactions in the electronic medical record. Requires strong customer service, communication, typing, grammar, listening, and organizational skills, with at least one year of call center experience.

Performs outpatient CT examinations, including patient screening, positioning, contrast administration, IV access, image acquisition, monitoring, and post-procedure instructions. Operates CT equipment safely using ALARA principles, maintains image quality and regulatory compliance, documents care in RIS/PACS, and supports scheduling, insurance authorization, customer service, room maintenance, and departmental workflow.

Provides perioperative nursing care in the ambulatory operating room for adult and geriatric patients. Functions as circulator, scrub, and assistant; performs pre-op assessments, maintains sterile field and counts, assists anesthesia and surgeon, documents care, responds to emergencies, educates patients, and participates in training and quality improvement. Maintains ACLS and CPR certification and follows AORN and facility policies.
