Provide direct patient care in a healthcare or long-term care facility: assess patients, develop and implement care plans, administer medications and treatments, perform clinical procedures (wound care, IV therapy, catheter care), document in EHR, respond to emergencies, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and advocacy.

Provides direct patient care under RN or physician supervision in long-term care or assisted living: administers medications, performs wound and basic nursing care, monitors vitals, assists with ADLs, documents care, communicates with care team and families, follows infection control, and advocates for residents.

Provides compassionate daily care to residents in a long-term care or assisted living setting. Responsibilities include assisting with hygiene, mobility, feeding, vital signs, monitoring, documentation, infection control, emotional support, safety, and recreational activities. Reports resident changes to licensed nursing staff, collaborates with healthcare professionals, contributes to care planning, and transports residents within the facility. Requires active STNA certification and a high school diploma or equivalent; prior experience is preferred but not required.
