Develops photonic package concepts, packaging processes, and design rules for satellite optical communication systems. Integrates optical, mechanical, and environmental components; selects and qualifies suppliers; conducts optical experiments; analyzes quality and yield; and supports design optimization. The role also coordinates projects, manages schedules and documentation, converts layouts to GDSII, performs packaging CAD, trains team members, and prepares proposals and technical reports.

Leads opto-mechanical engineering and serves as the technical authority for optical system integration, including mounts, benches, gimbals, alignment, thermal stability, and space-grade design. Develops and validates designs using CAD, calculations, FEA, prototyping, and testing. Drives design-for-manufacture and assembly, process improvement, standards compliance, and documentation. Mentors engineers, supports technical reviews and proposals, and collaborates across optical, electrical, software, systems, and manufacturing teams.

The Senior Analog IC Designer will design and verify analog circuits for high-speed ICs and collaborate with photonic engineers, ensuring optimal performance and conducting simulations and validations.
