Unpaid 3-6 month video editor internship assembling recorded footage into finished projects for broadcast. Responsibilities include trimming and sequencing footage, creating rough and final cuts, adding music/dialogue/graphics/effects, ensuring continuity, consulting with production, and using current editing and compositing technologies.

Assist the editor-in-chief with managing and scheduling published material, proofread and select articles, co-manage a 3-5 writer staff, schedule press releases, and maintain social media marketing presence.

Lead Graphic Designer Intern will coordinate and implement marketing campaigns, assist in managing 1-2 designers, create layouts for promotional materials using current design trends, and take visual concepts from concept through completion while meeting deadlines and incorporating feedback.

Edit and assemble news-entertainment video pieces from raw footage, create shot decision lists from scripts, gather and compile b-roll, and apply animation/transition techniques per production briefs. Collaborate with the production team to deliver engaging weekly content during a 3–6 month unpaid remote internship.

Produce researched written content for publication across news, reviews, features, and columns. Conduct research, attend relevant events or seminars, and support the production team to gain journalism and entertainment media experience during a 3–6 month unpaid internship.

Support web design and development by creating appealing layouts and graphics for marketing materials, applying current design trends, interpreting instructions, exercising judgment, and taking visual concepts from idea through completion.

Support live event production (camera work, logistics), assist editing recap/promotional videos, gather and compile b-roll, and contribute to creative brainstorming for experiential and video marketing. Gain hands-on video production experience on a Chicago-based media team.

Support MBJ Network's social media and community engagement for MMA and boxing fans. Coordinate social marketing campaigns, manage groups and weekly agendas, collaborate across teams, apply communication strategies, and maintain ongoing online community engagement.
