Manage and execute payments-related projects from intake to completion, coordinating cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Risk, Compliance, Underwriting, Legal) to meet milestones, mitigate risks, maintain documentation, and ensure compliance with card network and regulatory requirements. Focus on merchant onboarding, acquiring/processor requirements, fraud and chargeback programs, internal tooling, and process improvements.

The Product Operations Associate I supports daily operations in the Product Department, ensuring customer satisfaction through training, product implementation, and performance tracking.

Program, test, pack, and ship point-of-sale hardware per specifications. Review orders, verify client information, coordinate shipping, handle escalations with partners and support teams, and perform light lifting. Communicate updates and maintain accuracy in deployed equipment and documentation.

Support day-to-day HR operations including employee relations, benefits and leave administration (FMLA/CFRA/PFL/ADA), HRIS management (Paylocity), compliance with federal and California employment laws, performance management, onboarding/offboarding, HR reporting, employee engagement, workers' compensation and safety coordination, policy and handbook maintenance, training coordination, and special HR projects.

Support underwriting team with partner background checks, identity and business verification, data entry, recordkeeping, and workflow tracking. Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, and Operations, assist reporting and special projects, and apply analytics and ML approaches to improve onboarding, reduce costs, and mitigate risk.
