Serve as the primary technical advisor for U.S. Federal and enterprise customers, leading secure onboarding, architecture, integrations, deployments, and long-term platform success. Design scalable Mattermost implementations across cloud, on-premises, hybrid, and air-gapped environments. Advise on cybersecurity and compliance, collaborate with engineering and product teams, resolve complex issues, create deployment assets, and manage executive and technical stakeholder relationships. The role requires customer-facing technical leadership, infrastructure expertise, DevSecOps knowledge, and eligibility to obtain a U.S. security clearance.

Own the reliability, performance, architecture, and platform integrations of Mattermost’s React Native mobile application. Improve behavior in disconnected and constrained environments, synchronization, recovery, crash-free performance, observability, native iOS and Android capabilities, secure storage, notifications, background execution, and enterprise distribution. Mentor engineers, guide architectural decisions, debug production issues, support security and compliance requirements, and contribute to the open-source codebase.

Lead the architecture and technical direction of Mattermost’s core web platform across Go, React, and TypeScript. Own distributed systems, APIs, testing infrastructure, security-conscious design, and quality standards across multiple teams. Mentor senior engineers, influence technical strategy, partner with security and compliance leaders, guide AI-agentic engineering practices, and contribute to the open-source codebase.

Leads technical architecture and roadmap for Mattermost’s core web platform across Go, React, and TypeScript. Owns distributed systems, API design, testing strategy, internal engineering tooling, security and compliance alignment, and quality standards. Mentors senior engineers, influences multiple teams, drives AI-agentic development practices, and contributes to the open-source codebase.

Own and modernize the companys governance, risk, and compliance program across federal and commercial markets. Lead certification and surveillance cycles, run risk and third-party vendor programs, apply GRC engineering and AI for automation and continuous controls monitoring, coordinate external audits, manage customer security assurance, and grow a scalable GRC team.

Hunt and close net-new enterprise logos and expand strategic accounts across the Americas. Own full sales cycle from outbound prospecting to close, engage VP/C-level stakeholders, deliver tailored demos, negotiate contracts, maintain pipeline and forecasts in Salesforce, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive deal velocity and customer outcomes.

Lead SRE to define strategy and roadmap for reliability, scalability, observability, and automation across cloud and hybrid environments. Design and operate containerized production workloads, infrastructure-as-code, monitoring/alerting, incident management, and compliance for regulated domains. Mentor SREs, partner with security and product teams, manage cloud costs and capacity, and build a developer platform to improve delivery and production stability.

Manage inbound net-new sales, expansions, and renewals across EMEA. Qualify and close small-to-mid deals, identify upsell opportunities, partner with AEs on complex deals, and maintain CRM hygiene and forecasting.

Manage federal account renewals and expansions, identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities, and act as a trusted advisor. Coordinate with Account Executives and cross-functional teams, maintain CRM hygiene and forecasting, and engage with Federal procurement and partner ecosystems to drive retention and growth.

Build and scale Mattermost's core web platform across Go backend and React/TypeScript frontend. Design and consume REST and WebSocket APIs, optimize PostgreSQL queries, maintain security/compliance for government and enterprise clients, own testing strategy and internal tooling, and integrate AI coding agents into daily development workflows. Contribute to open-source codebase.

Lead regional presales and technical activities for Japan/Indo-Pacific: deliver architecture, demos, and deep technical evaluations; deploy solutions in on‑prem, air‑gapped and private cloud environments; partner with system integrators and distributors; translate technical detail for executive and operational audiences; act as technical liaison to global product and engineering teams to ensure mission outcomes.
