Manages day-to-day administrative operations for a government legal division. Reviews and routes incoming cases, supervises paralegals and support staff, supports hiring and onboarding, maintains calendars and files, updates case records in OnBase, coordinates communications, monitors supplies and equipment, and assists attorneys and division managers with deadlines and administrative processes.

Investigates and prosecutes complex narcotics and firearms cases throughout Western Massachusetts. Responsibilities include leading multi-agency investigations, reviewing search and wiretap warrants, conducting grand jury proceedings, managing motions and trials in Superior Court, and handling related civil forfeiture claims. The attorney will manage a substantial caseload, collaborate with law enforcement and investigative partners, and represent the Commonwealth through sentencing.

Investigate and litigate complex Massachusetts False Claims Act matters, including qui tam actions. Duties include obtaining documents and testimony, interviewing witnesses, analyzing evidence, drafting memoranda, negotiating settlements, managing discovery and motions, and handling trials. The role requires collaboration with state, local, federal, and whistleblower representatives in a public interest enforcement environment.
