Manage workers’ compensation, commercial auto, general liability, property, and other insurance claims from initial reporting through resolution. Responsibilities include collecting documentation, coordinating with employees, managers, adjusters, medical providers, attorneys, and carriers, maintaining electronic claim files, tracking deadlines and open claims, coordinating return-to-work information, and escalating issues when necessary.

Assistant Controller supporting accounting operations, financial reporting, general ledger, inventory and cost accounting, internal controls, procure-to-pay processes, and month-end close. The role analyzes manufacturing variances, ensures GAAP compliance, supports ERP and process improvements, partners with operational leaders, and supervises accounting staff.

Analyzes datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and business opportunities; builds dashboards and reports; supports financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting; evaluates performance against targets; partners with business teams to develop analytical solutions; and presents actionable insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Supervise mechanical installation, contractor and vendor coordination, equipment inspections, lifting activities, commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, and quality control for a new slag grinding plant. Ensure OSHA, MSHA, engineering, and manufacturer requirements are met. Support acceptance testing, punch-list completion, preventive maintenance programs, and spare-parts planning, with potential transition to a permanent plant engineering role.

Oversee enterprise risk management, insurance claims, litigation coordination, regulatory compliance, audits, and corrective actions. Analyze claims, accidents, litigation, costs, and commercial driver safety trends to identify exposure and recommend mitigation initiatives. Manage relationships with insurers, brokers, third-party administrators, outside counsel, executives, and operational leaders. Maintain risk policies, records, reporting, insurance renewal materials, and compliance practices involving OSHA, DOT, and other regulations.

Lead electrical and instrumentation activities for a new slag grinding plant, overseeing power distribution installation, contractor coordination, electrical testing, commissioning, startup, controls integration, troubleshooting, compliance, and maintenance program development.
