The Biodesign Curriculum Development Partner will collaborate with the Endowed Chair of Biodesign to develop curriculum and courses for new undergraduate and graduate Biodesign programs, and engage with stakeholders for program planning and approval.

Coordinates academic department administration, finance, purchasing, scheduling, faculty onboarding and recruitment logistics, events, records, communications, facilities requests, and student employee supervision. Supports academic leaders, faculty, students, visitors, and campus partners while maintaining confidential records, monitoring budgets, processing transactions, improving procedures, and coordinating complex departmental projects and programs.

The Assistant Director will oversee internship education, manage student and employer relationships, and maintain the job database while providing career advising.

Serve as an HR business partner for assigned client groups delivering recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and investigations, performance management, training, HRIS support, and organizational development. Ensure compliance with institutional policies and employment laws, drive employee engagement, and collaborate with leadership on HR strategy and initiatives.

Manage and grow employer partnerships to expand internships, employment, residencies, and project-based learning. Lead outreach strategy, employer engagement, event and program coordination, data analysis, and liaison work with faculty. Provide career advising, conduct workshops, manage employer tracking (12Twenty), and support institutional reporting and department initiatives.

Perform regional undergraduate recruitment by attending and hosting college fairs, high school visits, and portfolio review events. Build relationships with schools and counselors, present about programs and campus life, review student portfolios, assist counselors with follow-up, complete event evaluations and expense reports, and perform related admissions duties.
