Own end-to-end technical and non-technical recruitment, optimise Greenhouse ATS, source niche scientific and engineering talent through academic networks, manage stakeholder relationships and hiring processes, implement a Bar Raiser program, and build talent pipelines aligned with business priorities.

The role involves designing, building, and validating electrical systems for high-voltage applications while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

The Head of Controls will oversee the integration of control systems in a fusion energy facility, managing technical teams and ensuring effective communication and project management.

Manage the company's export control and sanctions compliance programs, ensuring adherence to legal requirements and conducting training for staff.

Own FP&A, project controlling, consolidation, forecasting, cost accounting, and management reporting across group entities. Build integrated financial models covering P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, headcount, scenarios, and runway. Establish IFRS-compliant controlling structures, transfer pricing cost bases, KPI frameworks, and automated reporting processes. Partner with project and technical teams, improve close discipline, and prepare the organization for financing rounds, external reporting, and potential listing.

Lead technology partnerships and PMO for laser programs: define partnership strategy, scout and manage partners, run publicly funded projects, oversee program governance, budgets, supplier qualification, and cross-functional stakeholder management to transition R&D toward industrialization.

Develop and validate wave-optics simulation tools for high-power laser beam transport, analyze optical aberrations and tolerances, design and optimize beamline subsystems, run laboratory experiments and diagnostics to correlate measurements with simulations, support commissioning and troubleshooting, and collaborate with engineering teams to deliver scalable laser architectures for fusion applications.

Develop and implement control systems and automation architectures for laser facilities, collaborating with engineers to ensure software stability and safety.
