Manages bus and rail safety accident and incident investigations, including major events, near misses, injuries, infrastructure damage, and service interruptions. Oversees investigative staff, reviews reports, determines root causes, monitors safety risk mitigations, and develops corrective action recommendations. Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local transit safety regulations, supports safety management and risk management plans, analyzes incident trends, and prepares reports for executive leadership, the board, and oversight agencies.

Supports technology implementation, adoption, and sustainment across the organization. Develops change strategies, adoption plans, communication campaigns, training programs, user materials, and stakeholder engagement activities. Conducts impact and readiness assessments, monitors adoption metrics, gathers user feedback, and recommends improvements. Partners with IT, project teams, leadership, and end users to facilitate organizational transformation, translate technical concepts, and reinforce lasting technology adoption.

Provides advanced litigation and legal support for complex, high-exposure matters. Manages case files, discovery, document production, subpoenas, deadlines, proceedings, outside counsel coordination, reports, and audits. Supports attorneys and serves as a primary resource for paralegal staff. Leads training, mentoring, workflow coordination, quality control, and development of standard operating procedures while maintaining confidential information.

Provides legal and administrative support to attorneys in litigation matters. Maintains physical and electronic case files, prepares documents, performs e-filing and routine legal research, tracks court deadlines, coordinates service of process, assists with discovery, subpoenas, hearings, trials, outside counsel matters, and public records requests.

Provides legal and administrative support for workers’ compensation, employment law, and general litigation matters. Responsibilities include conducting legal research, organizing case files, preparing correspondence and discovery materials, managing court and agency filings, tracking deadlines, coordinating hearings and depositions, obtaining records, and supporting attorneys during legal proceedings.

Provides legal representation for the Authority and its employees in mediation, arbitration, hearings, trials, agency proceedings, and state and federal litigation. Handles employment, workers’ compensation, civil rights, and other claims; prepares pleadings and legal documents; conducts investigations; advises stakeholders; researches and drafts legal opinions; negotiates settlements; and supervises paralegals, interns, and externs.

Forecasts long-term and short-term cash flow for MARTA’s Capital Improvement Program, performs variance analysis, maintains three-statement financial models, develops dashboards and reports, supports capital structure and funding decisions, and collaborates with project managers to ensure forecast accuracy and financial accountability.
