Teams at Maine Veterans' Homes

Provides direct nursing care to residents in memory care, skilled nursing, and long-term care settings. Responsibilities include medication administration, assessments, treatments, care planning, documentation, emergency response, infection control, resident advocacy, and communication with families and care teams. Supervises and supports CNAs while ensuring safe, dignified, individualized care.

Provides overnight resident-centered nursing care, leads and supports nursing staff, oversees clinical operations and regulatory compliance, collaborates with interdisciplinary teams, and mentors CNAs and support staff in a long-term care setting.

Supervise nursing staff during evening shifts at a Veterans’ care home, ensuring resident-centered care, safety, regulatory compliance, and effective team performance. Serve as a clinical resource and mentor while providing administrative and clinical oversight. The role requires an active Maine RN license, skilled and long-term care regulatory knowledge, strong English communication skills, and basic computer proficiency.
