Teams at Luzerne County Head Start, Inc.

Supports lead and associate teachers in Head Start classrooms for 3- and 4-year-old children. Assists with educational activities and maintains a developmentally appropriate environment promoting school readiness. Requires a high school diploma or GED and current background clearances. Experience with young children is preferred; English/Spanish bilingual ability is a plus.

Provides substitute and supplemental classroom support in a Head Start setting for children ages three and four. Assists education staff with educational activities, maintains a developmentally appropriate environment, and promotes school readiness. The position works on an as-needed basis during the August–June school year and requires current background clearances and proof of education.

Provide on-call classroom support and substitute for absent staff in Head Start classrooms. Assist education staff with developmentally appropriate activities for 3- and 4-year-olds, promote school readiness, and maintain a safe, supportive classroom environment.
