Information Technology Specialist

Responsibilities/Duties:

Responsible for the operations and function of the agency’s technology infrastructure, computer systems, software applications, data systems, and technology-related service. Provide technical assistance to staff, ensuring the reliable operation of technology systems.

Assist with cybersecurity and data protection, and supports the agency’s ability to effectively use technology in the delivery of our services.

Work collaboratively with all departments and service areas to identify technology needs, resolve technical issues, maintain equipment, and promote the secure and effective use of technology throughout the organization.

Qualifications:

  • BS Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
  • Three years’ experience with computers, windows, word processing, spreadsheets, Internet and data entry, plus knowledge of database, networking systems, backup procedures, hardware/software setup and prior training experience

Luzerne County Head Start, Inc. requires staff to possess current, valid Background Clearances (3) per state/federal regulations. Position will require record check approval of driving record by LCHS Insurance Provider, as this position is considered a designated position requiring driving as an essential job function. Proof of Degree/Certification and Experience Required to meet the Qualifications for position.

Full Time, 12-months/Full Year, 37.5 hrs/wk
Salary/Annual: $46,461
