Serve as MLRO for Lorum’s DFSA-regulated Dubai entity, managing AML/CTF, sanctions, suspicious activity reporting, regulatory notifications, risk assessments, policies, governance, and monitoring actions. Act as the primary contact for DFSA and DIFC matters, advise on products and expansion, challenge business risks, and report to local and group committees. Collaborate with compliance leaders across jurisdictions to build a unified group framework and lead a strategic compliance workstream.

Own and improve AWS cloud infrastructure, Terraform-based infrastructure as code, GitHub Actions CI/CD, observability, security, and production reliability. Responsibilities include on-call support, incident response, capacity planning, resilience and failover, compliance collaboration for SOC 2 and ISO 27001, secrets and IAM management, automation, self-service tooling, and runbook development. The role requires close collaboration with backend engineering and Security in a regulated, high-availability fintech environment.

Build and maintain Rust backend services, APIs, ledgers, and integrations supporting clearing and treasury products. Design reliable financial systems with strong domain logic, observability, testing, and reconciliation. Own services from design through production support, participate in on-call and incident response, collaborate with Product and Security/GRC, and improve reliability, throughput, and technical standards.

Investigate transaction-monitoring alerts end-to-end, conduct KYB and onboarding reviews, run reliance reviews and RFIs, support remediation and offboarding, and reduce alert noise by improving rules and applying AI/automation to repetitive checks. Work closely with international compliance teams and document decisions for audit readiness.

Lead and evolve Lorum’s visual identity and brand system. Produce and ship marketing assets, build scalable design systems, collaborate with marketing/sales/product, and direct external agencies. Ensure all outputs communicate institutional credibility for regulated financial clients.

Hunter sales role selling correspondent banking, clearing and treasury solutions to mid-sized banks. Own a self-sourced pipeline, run deals from first conversation to onboarding, manage multi-stakeholder sales cycles, hit a £2m+ quota, travel ~40%, and feed product and compliance insights back to the business.

Design APIs and domain logic, ensure scalability, observability, security and compliance, participate in on‑call and incident response, write comprehensive tests, and collaborate with Product and Cross‑functional teams to deliver production systems.
