Staff Accountant responsible for general ledger maintenance, journal entries, account reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, inventory and fixed asset schedules, commissions, tax filings, month-end close support, audits, and ad hoc reporting. The role requires collaboration across the company, analytical thinking, strong communication, accounting knowledge, ERP experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel.

Directs food safety and quality assurance programs in a manufacturing environment. Manages HACCP, GMP, regulatory compliance, environmental pathogen testing, audits, accreditations, inspections, employee training, corrective actions, product development support, and recall programs. Works with senior management, plant leadership, production, research and development, regulators, customers, and industry groups to maintain audit-ready standards and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local food safety requirements.

Package, unload, and assemble production goods; transfer work-in-process; inspect goods and packaging; maintain a clean work area; report production issues to supervisors; perform other assigned production duties.

Supervise day or night bakery production lines: enforce food safety and procedures, train and manage staff, ensure correct materials, formulas, packaging, inventory tracking, production documentation, and maintain product quality and safety in a manufacturing environment.
