Work on all aspects of neutral atom quantum processors, owning major subsystems. Collaborate with optical systems, controls/software, and architecture teams to develop hardware, refine control and data-analysis pipelines, and design demonstration experiments to validate performance metrics.

Develop and innovate fault-tolerant quantum computing designs across the full QEC stack. Simulate QEC protocols and logical operations, implement logical gates in qLDPC codes, and perform fault-tolerant compilation for distributed modular hardware. Collaborate with hardware teams to create practical QEC protocols; ML-driven decoder research is a plus.

Design, build, and test manufacturable optical systems for quantum processors, including laser beam delivery, optical pattern generation, wide-field microscopes and projection systems. Collaborate with physicists to set specifications and validate performance, and work with software engineers to integrate hardware into the control stack. After prototyping, scale production of modular systems for datacenter-scale quantum computers.

Design and implement low-latency FPGA control and signal-processing for quantum systems. Build RTL-to-hardware features, verify with hardware-in-the-loop, optimize RTL and PS firmware for latency, resource use, and timing closure, and collaborate with physicists and software engineers to productionize designs.

Develop and own control-system software enabling nanosecond-level laser timing, high-speed camera acquisition, calibration data pipelines, and distributed monitoring. Work across software/hardware boundary, perform hands-on instrumentation, and collaborate with physicists and engineers to ensure robust distributed quantum computations.

Design and prototype precision optomechanical components, modular optical breadboards, and large-scale mechanical infrastructure. Collaborate with researchers and optical engineers to deliver manufacturable hardware, perform prototyping, construction, alignment, validation, and apply DFM and tolerancing practices.
