Lead build-versus-buy decisions, vendor evaluations, roadmap planning, observability, change management, and CPQ-to-billing automation. Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, RevOps, Legal, IT, and Engineering while mentoring engineers and establishing technical standards for reliable, scalable GTM infrastructure.

Design developer tools for testing, evaluating, debugging, and observing AI voice agents. Translate dense real-time data into clear interfaces, create AI-native interaction patterns, prototype in code, collaborate with engineers, and contribute to design systems for technical debugging workflows.

Own the full sales cycle for LiveKit’s technical voice AI infrastructure platform, from prospecting and discovery through demos, negotiation, and closing. Sell to developers, CTOs, and product teams, generate pipeline through outbound efforts and partnerships, maintain customer relationships, collaborate with Product and Engineering, help build the sales playbook, and manage forecasting and CRM hygiene.

Partners with account executives as the technical lead for strategic deals, advising customers on cloud architecture, deployment, connectivity, latency, scalability, and reliability. Builds live demos, reference applications, and proofs of concept for voice, video, and AI agent use cases, guiding customers through production. Creates technical content, presents to technical audiences, and shares field insights with Product and Engineering.

Own 8–10 full-cycle technical recruiting searches for engineering roles, partnering with hiring managers, sourcing passive candidates, building talent pipelines, closing senior and staff-level hires, and improving recruiting systems and candidate experience. The role requires strong technical recruiting expertise across infrastructure, backend, developer tools, open source, or AI, plus the ability to implement thoughtful AI-enabled recruiting practices.

Partner with account executives as the technical lead on strategic deals, advising customers on cloud architecture, deployment, connectivity, latency, scalability, and reliability. Build live demos, reference applications, and proofs of concept involving voice, video, telephony, and AI agents. Guide customers from discovery through production, create technical content, present to technical audiences, and share field insights with Product and Engineering.

Run US and international payroll end to end, including payroll tax filings, multi-state compliance, PEO/EOR management, reconciliations, and month-end close support. Build payroll calendars, controls, processes, and documentation as payroll moves into Finance. Partner with People, Talent, and Accounting, support Carta equity administration, answer payroll questions, and handle auditor requests. Serve as the internal subject-matter expert while identifying tax, legal, and compliance risks.

Own infrastructure security for LiveKit’s production platform. Map cloud security posture, prioritize and remediate infrastructure risks, harden IAM, secrets, networks, tenant isolation, and media storage, and build secure infrastructure-as-code guardrails. Partner with compliance teams on PCI-DSS and ISO 27001 controls and automate audit evidence. The role requires cloud, Kubernetes, Terraform, scripting, and production infrastructure security experience, with AI security and real-time media experience preferred.

Owns LiveKit’s revenue accounting function, including ASC 606 policy development, monthly revenue close, deferred revenue and contract balances, external audit support, billing-to-revenue reconciliation, order-to-cash governance, collections, and commission capitalization under ASC 340-40. The role also reviews complex deal structures, documents technical accounting conclusions, and builds scalable automated revenue processes for usage-based and consumption revenue.

Own the product organization’s operating system, including planning cadence, roadmap management, goal tracking, reporting, product development standards, launch readiness, customer insight systems, PM onboarding, training, tools, and team practices. Partner with product leadership, data, marketing, sales, success, and engineering to improve team effectiveness, visibility, and decision-making as the company scales.

Own and evolve LiveKit’s developer-facing website by building high-performance web experiences, reusable brand components, motion systems, and launch pages. Translate brand and design concepts into polished production code, maintain strong performance budgets, and collaborate closely with designers, marketers, and engineers. The role emphasizes front-end engineering, animation, interaction design, speed, and self-directed delivery.

Lead brand design across campaigns, events, digital, print, out-of-home, presentations, environmental graphics, and physical goods. Develop creative concepts through production, extend LiveKit’s identity across new formats, and maintain a high bar for craft and consistency. Partner with marketing and sales to turn ambiguous briefs into shipped work quickly. Use AI tools throughout the creative process and contribute strong systems thinking, visual direction, and execution.

Design and implement real-time audio, video, and voice AI applications with customer engineering teams. Build integrations, prototypes, reference implementations, and scalable architectures; support SDKs, APIs, infrastructure, and deployment strategies; troubleshoot production issues; lead technical workshops; and provide customer insights to Product and Engineering. Contribute to LiveKit’s developer experience, tooling, documentation, and open-source ecosystem. Fluency in Spanish and English is required.

Own and engineer the GTM stack: Salesforce as system of record and HubSpot as marketing system, build and maintain integrations and data flows, deploy agentic AI workflows, implement observability and change management, and partner with Sales, Marketing, Analytics, and Billing to ensure reliable revenue operations.

As a Distributed Systems Engineer, you'll design and evolve LiveKit's core systems, implement resilient architectures, and enhance reliability and developer velocity, working on critical features in production environments.

Own the LiveKit Telephony product roadmap, covering SIP trunking, native phone numbers, carrier relationships, global expansion, interoperability, reliability, call quality, pricing, packaging, and margins. Partner closely with engineering, enterprise customers, and carriers to prioritize features, improve production call experiences, establish regulatory coverage, and scale telephony infrastructure for voice AI applications.

Build post-training infrastructure for voice and text agents, including training environments, verifiers, synthetic data pipelines, evaluations, and end-to-end experiments. Select and adapt open-weight models, design robust rewards, deploy models to production, and improve behavior using real-world usage. The role requires strong Python engineering, experience taking models from raw data to production, GPU familiarity, and collaborative remote work.

The Senior Product Engineer will build web and CLI interfaces for developers using LiveKit, focusing on product experience and user feedback. Responsibilities include writing production code, engaging with customers, and making product decisions to enhance developer experience.
