Oversee mill production operations, including scheduling, staffing, quality control, safety, maintenance inventory, environmental reporting, budgeting, and continuous improvement. The manager supervises production personnel, coordinates equipment and materials, maintains OSHA and quality compliance, prepares operational reports, recruits and evaluates employees, and ensures products are delivered safely, on time, and within cost parameters.

Coordinates plant administrative operations, including invoice and purchase order processing, HR support, inventory and production reporting, month-end finance support, shipping documentation, shipment reconciliation in Sage, and general plant manager and safety-program assistance. The role also handles mail distribution and other administrative duties while communicating with accounting, HR, finance, and shipping teams.

The role requires strong manufacturing leadership, analytical skills, technical knowledge, and flexibility to work in weather extremes.

Maintains, diagnoses, repairs, and installs industrial manufacturing equipment. Performs preventive maintenance, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, minor facility repairs, outage planning, equipment installation oversight, inventory management, and maintenance documentation using Microsoft Office and CMMS. Requires blueprint and schematic interpretation, power and hand tool operation, welding, forklift and heavy equipment experience, and the ability to work safely at heights and in confined spaces.
