Manages internal and external communications for a nonprofit, including social media, newsletters, collateral, press releases, public relations, photography, video and audio storytelling, advocacy events, employee communications, and facility tours. The role develops content, maintains communications calendars, cultivates media relationships, promotes organizational programs, and represents the organization at community events.

Manages daily Baton Rouge service center operations, including reception, mail, office supplies, equipment, records, and facilities. Supports boutique sales, inventory, cash handling, customer service, and product recommendations. Provides administrative and programmatic support for vision rehabilitation, Deaf Services, and WIPA programs, including appointment coordination, consumer screening, documentation, database updates, and reimbursement processing. Occasional errands, regional travel, evening/weekend support, and compliance with organizational policies are required.

Provide administrative and clerical support to the VP of Services and service departments, including document preparation, scheduling, data extraction for reports, medical billing support, financial aid processing, front desk backup, event support, and maintaining confidentiality and organized client records.
