Supports the sales team by communicating with customers, processing custom and stock orders, preparing quotes, reviewing pricing and lead times, resolving discrepancies, following up on purchase orders, and assisting outside sales representatives. Customer-facing technical sales engineer responsible for designing springs and formed-wire components, analyzing load and fatigue performance, preparing estimates and quotations, and supporting prototyping, PPAP, validation, and production launches. The role partners with customers, sales, engineering, operations, tooling, and quality teams to deliver manufacturable, cost-effective solutions. Additional duties include BOM and routing development, root-cause analysis, analytics, Kaizen initiatives, and ongoing production support.

Customer-facing Sales Engineer responsible for developing new business, expanding accounts, assessing technical application needs, and creating estimates and quotations for spring and formed wire solutions. The role partners with engineering and operations on design, prototyping, testing, PPAP, customer qualification, program launches, and continuous improvement while balancing performance, manufacturability, cost, and lead time.

Set up and operate grinding machines according to specifications, selecting appropriate wheels, tooling, and methods. Dress and change wheels, inspect finished products, perform machine teardown and cleanup, and complete routine maintenance. The role requires sound mechanical judgment, attention to quality standards, physical ability to lift 40 pounds, reliable attendance, and a passing score on the Bennett Mechanical Aptitude Test or equivalent.

Sets up, starts, and operates primary and secondary machines; prepares tooling and first-piece samples; determines blank dimensions and centering processes; records measurements and part counts; performs machine teardown, cleanup, maintenance, inspection, sampling, and general factory support. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, mechanical aptitude, measuring skills, pre-employment screening, and ability to lift at least 40 pounds.
