Own the strategy, roadmap, and execution for LeanX, a cross-border payments and stablecoin infrastructure business. Build scalable payout corridors, automate treasury and reconciliation operations, improve client onboarding through APIs and sandboxes, and lead stablecoin infrastructure initiatives. Partner closely with engineering, commercial, regulatory, and leadership teams across distributed locations while balancing product priorities, compliance, licensing, and business growth.

Software Engineering Interns will design, develop, test, debug, and deploy enhancements to Java Spring Boot services running on Kubernetes. They will use Claude Code, participate in code reviews, learn engineering workflows, collaborate across teams, and work with mentors toward a full-time engineering role. The role involves building financial infrastructure for payments and financial data access in a regulated environment.

Investigate and resolve client issues involving financial APIs, using Elasticsearch, SQL, Postman, logs, and internal tools. Triage bugs, perform basic QA, document recurring issues, escalate clearly to engineering and product, and shadow incident response. The intern will also support proactive monitoring, alerting improvements, AI support agent feedback, and process enhancements while working closely with senior support engineers.

Sales Development Intern supporting Lean’s Saudi Arabia sales funnel. Responsibilities include researching target accounts, sourcing outbound leads, handling inbound leads, documenting qualification decisions, joining and eventually leading qualification calls, maintaining pipeline data, tracking weekly performance metrics, and providing feedback to Marketing. The role requires English and Arabic communication, persistence, prioritization, comfort with rejection, and interest in fintech and payments.

Support FP&A through revenue forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, management reporting, scenario modeling, pricing analysis, and unit economics. The intern will maintain forecast inputs, consolidate budgets, track commercial deals, research potential markets, identify cost savings, and test AI-enabled workflow tools. The role requires strong spreadsheet modeling, analytical initiative, clear writing, ownership, and curiosity about payments, open banking, and fintech.

Plan and execute risk-based internal audits across multiple entities, assessing regulatory compliance, AML/CFT, technology, operations, governance, financial controls, and control effectiveness. Develop the annual audit plan, report findings to management and committees, track remediation, coordinate with regulators and external auditors, support outsourced audit arrangements and investigations, and maintain documentation suitable for regulatory inspection.

Leads Lean KSA’s compliance function for a SAMA-licensed payment institution. Responsibilities include regulatory compliance, AML/CFT and financial crime oversight, SAMA inspections, compliance monitoring, licensing applications, counter-fraud governance, consumer protection, regulatory reporting, data protection support, and regulator relationships. The role reports to the Board and manages the KSA Compliance Officer while building compliance capabilities as the business expands.

Own infrastructure architecture, reliability, scalability, and security across hybrid and multi-cloud environments. Design Kubernetes platforms, establish Infrastructure as Code and GitOps standards, build observability systems, improve SLOs and incident management, automate operations, and support compliance. Partner with engineering teams to improve developer experience while mentoring engineers and providing technical leadership across DevOps, platform engineering, and SRE.
