The Instructional Manager coaches, evaluates, and develops K-12 teachers through classroom observations, feedback, professional learning plans, and performance reviews. The role also includes recruiting, onboarding, managing, and motivating teachers while leading professional learning initiatives.

Manages and evaluates instructional managers, coaches leaders and teachers, oversees professional learning, monitors instructional quality, and guides assessment implementation. Partners with school leadership to improve student outcomes and maintain effective learning environments.

Supports the Director of Operations with day-to-day K-12 school operations, including facilities issue tracking, custodial coordination, family communications, attendance and chronic absenteeism, technology and equipment access, staff coverage, transportation, compliance, and special projects. The role manages operational data, organizes outreach and attendance plans, supports building readiness, assists with device inventory, and helps coordinate school events and initiatives.

Provides individualized small-group foundational reading instruction to middle and high school students. Plans and delivers research-based lessons, manages student engagement, assesses progress, analyzes data, communicates outcomes to families and staff, and collaborates with instructional coaches and reading interventionists. Participates in professional development, coaching cycles, and professional learning communities while continuously refining instructional practices to help close achievement gaps.
