Leads the design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and production support of Appian applications for a federal health research client. Translates requirements into workflows, interfaces, integrations, and case management solutions; supports full SDLC activities, release management, accessibility, quality assurance, incident resolution, documentation, and Agile delivery. Responsibilities include patching, application deployment, compliance reporting, imaging, Group Policy management, endpoint configuration, and server patching support. Serve as a Tier-3 escalation point for complex issues, performing advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis. Maintain technical documentation and train staff on endpoint management tools while collaborating with security and server teams.

Lead enterprise application and solution architecture across long-lived Java and .NET applications, COTS products, Oracle databases, and hybrid cloud infrastructure. Develop modernization roadmaps, target architectures, integration strategies, and governance standards; guide cloud and database modernization; evaluate vendors and technology options; advise executives and development teams; manage technical debt and risk; and mentor architects and technical leads. The role emphasizes pragmatic modernization without disrupting mission-critical operations.

Lead client discovery, design and deliver AI prototypes and integrations using LLMs, RAG, and agentic frameworks. Build, evaluate, and optimize models and retrieval pipelines, integrate AI into workflows, mentor teams on responsible AI, and produce evaluation and governance artifacts for federal clients.

Lead and manage a large federal IT program, ensuring delivery outcomes across multiple workstreams while engaging stakeholders and managing risks.

Design, implement, and operationalize GenAI/LLM solutions to enable AI-assisted development, codebase intelligence, and legacy-to-cloud modernization. Integrate AI assistants with enterprise platforms, support AI/ML workloads (e.g., SageMaker), ensure secure data handling, and drive AI adoption, governance, and developer productivity across engineering and DevSecOps teams.

Design, build, and deploy Generative AI/LLM applications and RAG pipelines on Azure OpenAI. Develop React front-ends and Python/FastAPI backends, integrate vector databases and SQL/NoSQL data sources, support cloud infrastructure and security governance, run UAT and pilots, and produce documentation, dashboards, and automation using Power Automate and Power BI.
