Provide advanced procurement and coordination support for electronic and mechanical fabrication, working with engineers and suppliers to purchase parts and assemblies, manage BOMs, track awards/deliveries, stage and transport parts on-site, and resolve supply issues to meet project cost and schedule requirements. Support may include leading project teams and performing hands-on staging and pickup.

Develop and maintain complex security-related software (Argus and related systems) on multi-disciplinary teams. Contribute to requirements, design, implementation, testing, debugging, optimization, and deployment across Linux and Windows environments. Provide advanced administrative support to senior leaders in the Engineering Principal Associate Director's Office: manage complex calendars, meetings, briefings, documents, reports, databases, and stakeholder communications; prepare agendas, minutes, sensitive correspondence, and presentation materials; coordinate logistics for tours and events; perform document conversion and file management; and collaborate across teams to meet deadlines and support PAD Office initiatives.

Provide department-wide business analysis and operational support for TID: gather requirements, document processes, develop dashboards and reports (Power BI), manage billing/chargebacks, coordinate procurement and technology asset lifecycles, support classified workspace readiness, and translate data into actionable recommendations for leadership. Lead cross-functional improvements at higher level.

Operate and support enterprise application infrastructure including Kubernetes and container ecosystems. Manage PingFederate and AppManager, perform capacity planning, upgrades, security/compliance, vulnerability remediation, performance monitoring, and automation using scripting and IaC tools. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet SLAs and enforce DevSecOps best practices.

Solicit, negotiate, award, and administer moderate-to-high value fixed-price and cost-reimbursable subcontracts for fabrication and R&D. Develop SOWs, issue solicitations, evaluate proposals, negotiate terms/pricing, manage contract performance through closeout, prepare audit responses, and serve as a technical procurement resource and project lead. Higher level handles highly complex awards, mentors staff, and interprets detailed technical specifications.

Deploy, test, troubleshoot, evaluate, operate, and maintain complex electronic systems and prototype equipment. Lead small projects, develop repair/calibration guides, provide advanced technical support for engineering tests and experiments, mentor others, and recommend maintenance and troubleshooting methods.

Design and validate autonomous experimental workflows; integrate robotics, instruments, sensors, and software; develop software and data infrastructure for instrument control, data acquisition, and experiment orchestration; apply AI/ML for experiment planning and analysis; troubleshoot platforms, collaborate across disciplines, and publish results.

Perform and design solid-state and solution magnetic resonance experiments (NMR, EPR, MRI) on rare earths and actinides, develop pulse sequences and data workflows, study diffusion and structure-property relationships, integrate imaging sequences on polymers, publish and present results, and communicate findings to stakeholders.

Conduct experimental research on superconducting and topological quantum devices for computing and sensing. Design and test microwave and cryogenic circuits, characterize thin films and amplifiers, develop data acquisition tools, analyze performance of Josephson and traveling-wave parametric amplifiers and circulators, collaborate across teams, publish results, and present findings at conferences.

The Subcontract Analyst will manage the solicitation, negotiation, and administration of subcontracts, ensuring compliance with procurement policies and regulations, and solving complex subcontract-related issues.

Design, fabricate, assemble, maintain, and troubleshoot electro-mechanical diagnostic systems for LIDSS. Support experiments and deployments at on-site and remote DOE/DoD test locations, operate and align diagnostic equipment, maintain documentation, and perform data recovery. Senior level adds independent work on complex assemblies, test parameter development, and advanced troubleshooting.

Support weapon component and system design-to-production for the nuclear deterrence mission. Own product definition, test operations, qualification activities, design reviews, producibility and manufacturing issues, and documentation. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior staff (SES.3), and meet program milestones under DOE security requirements.

Support Superblock engineering teams by defining product requirements, developing acquisition strategies, producing technical procurement packages, selecting and managing suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery and producibility. Provide engineering sourcing solutions, review drawings for manufacturability, monitor schedules and budgets, address regulatory and quality issues, and act as technical point of contact for complex hardware, tooling, and service procurements. Senior level adds leadership in sourcing strategies, MRP workflows, and process improvements.

Support metallurgical sample preparation and analysis, utilizing optical microscopy and various techniques to characterize materials. Collaborate with engineers and scientists to solve complex mechanical problems, adhering to safety protocols.

Administer and optimize the enterprise Learning Management System (LMS), act as product owner for LMS features, handle complex help-desk tickets, gather requirements, document processes, run reports, coordinate with IT/development for fixes and integrations, create test plans and training materials, and provide end-user support and system audits.

Provide technical leadership for software strategy and program execution in the Infrastructure Applications Program: develop roadmaps, evaluate technical solutions, coordinate stakeholders, mitigate technical risks, mentor staff, and advance cross-organizational collaboration to meet NNSA/LLNL mission objectives.
